Peeling is a bond failure, not a product failure. It happens when the slab was not opened up mechanically, when moisture was never tested, or when the coating went over an existing finish. We address all three on every job, and we warranty against delamination for fifteen years in writing.

Existing cracks get chased open with a crack chaser, cleaned out, and filled with a structural polyurea that flexes with the slab and accepts coating. Control joints are honored rather than bridged. We cannot stop a foundation from moving, so genuinely new structural cracks are not covered — but everything we repair is.

The flake itself creates a mild texture, which most people find is enough for a garage. If the floor will see water regularly — a pool deck, a patio, a wash bay — we add an anti-slip aggregate to the final clear coat at no meaningful cost.

The polyaspartic top coat is aliphatic, which means it is UV stable and will not amber. This matters in Texas, where an open garage door means direct afternoon sun on the floor every day. Standard epoxy will yellow — that is one of the reasons we top coat everything with polyaspartic.
